“Commitment is defined as a willingness to give your time and energy to something that you believe in, or a promise or firm decision to do something.”

I have come to learn that in order to actually be successful, one needs to move from the sphere of interest into the sphere of commitment. Interest is all about curiosity, admiration and fascination. Commitment on the other hand is about engagement and actual dedication to a particular course of action. Desire and interest only give you a VIP seat to watch and admire people who are truly successful.

“Extraordinary people went on to achieve great things in life because they are committed to their success. They are willing to put in the hard work, to wake up early and to stay later to work on their goals.”

When you are committed to success you will not only do the tasks that are requisite to success but you will also bear the responsibility, burden and pressure of success. I know that you are interested in success. But are you committed enough to attain it? Always remember that success eludes its admirers and always finds itself servant to the committed.
