ABC “ALWAYS BE CAREFUL” UNKNOWN

If you really want success, you can’t afford the luxury of being care-free or care-less with what you say or what you do. You simply can’t be unhinged and unguarded because people lose respect, dignity, finances, valuable relationships, job and business opportunities when they carry themselves badly in speech and deed.

Over the years, I have learnt that people really watch how I talk and how I behave. So I have learnt to think carefully, talk carefully, behave carefully and manage my life carefully in order to secure my success. There is value that comes with making sure you avoid careless errors in speech and in action.

What most people call a mistake is really error resulting from careless talk and action. On the other hand, a true mistake is an error that occurs while you were being careful to do the right thing. So how many times do you say sorry? Could it be that the number of sorry’s are a reflection of how much you don’t pay careful attention to do the right thing? Or is it that you make genuine mistakes every time you say sorry?

A person who speaks carelessly is never trusted and bad character is always denied access to the corridors of greatness. You can ruin your own success by careless and unguarded moments. To watch your destiny, unfold successfully, watch your mouth and actions. Failure to hold yourself accountable to the highest code of conduct in speech and in deed ruins destiny.
