Always make sure to put yourself in continuous training when you have a break from tough times — Do not relax! When life does not challenge you, utilize that pressure free season of life to challenge yourself in readiness for future challenges. When there is no fight, a good boxer knows that you get in the gym and grow some stamina and muscle so that at the point when the next level fight comes, you will be fully ready.

What does this mean practically? It’s when there is peace in your marriage that you must study about how to be a better husband or wife — Not when there is trouble, because in trouble, you put training to use. It’s when your business is making profit that you need to think hard about how to expand further. You don’t do that when your business is about to close down. While you have good health, practice healthy living. Don’t wait until you have a health challenge. When your life is at peace, you do well to challenge yourself and strengthen yourself in readiness for any storm ahead.

Many are hit hard by trouble after trouble sometimes to a point of no recovery because they never utilized their trouble free season to prepare for future storms.
