Friends, For People with Relational intelligence, there is no such thing as a difficult person. Why? Its because the thing that makes people difficult is not that they are difficult but it’s our lack of ability to process the way those people come across to us. So if you can’t process them, then you label them difficult.

Friends, I want you to answer this question today: Do you have Relational intelligence? By relational intelligence, I mean having the skills that enables you to navigate relationships well. So how do you develop relational intelligence?

1. Relational intelligence requires that you relate with people according to who they are and not what you think they are or what you think they must be. You must relate with people based on what you know about them. Live with people and relate with them according to knowledge.

2. Avoid unnecessarily putting yourself in confrontational situations with certain people. E.g If you know what a person does not like, simply do not do it. If you know something will spark conflict, avoid it. Only resort to confrontation if it’s the only way to better the relationship. Otherwise leave things alone altogether. Our role in life is to create an environment for people to flourish and grow around us. Not to try and make them grow.

3. Determine how closely you can relate with some people. If you know you easily spark with someone, don’t cut them off. Rather reduce the frequency of interaction with them to a level where arguments are…
