No Value — No Likes — No Love. Just Tolerance
Friends, never ever get it twisted. Please understand that people don’t like you/love you for just liking/loving you’s sake. Realise that People go for Value all the time. People always look at what you have to offer. They check for what you are as a person and then they look at what you have in terms of skills, abilities and other resources. So according to the Value you bring, so will your likes and love increase. Now I know that God’s love is unconditional but truth be told, Man’s love has conditions.
Scripture says God is not Man. He looks at the heart. The flip side is also true. Man looks at the outward appearance (The impression you make and the value you bring) . In other words you make an impression on God most especially by the status of your heart. For human beings, impression is based on the value you offer.
So to make this applicable, please work not just to be superficially loved or liked. Work at increasing your value. Always have something to offer. In your family be valuable. As a wife or husband be valuable. At your workplace, be valuable and make sure your are the last person anyone would want to fire. In business be the go to person. Young people today would say be the plug!!!
In conclusion realise that in any given grouping, there three types of people.
- Those who don’t bring any value at all.
- Those who bring little value.
- Those who bring a lot of value.
If you are in the third group, you will always be celebrated and not just tolerated.
