Working like an elephant and eating like an ant is the reality that so many people are going through today. Friends, I submit to you that at some point in your life, you have to quit the whole idea of fishing and catching little or nothing. A lot of us these days do work hard but are getting very little. For most of us, the problem is not a lack of hard work. The problem is profitless hard work! So today I want to highlight some principles that can get you to stop working like an elephant and eating like an ant.

1. Understand the power of leverage: Its not all the time that you must use hard work to profit. Sometimes you must use other things such as people’s talent, time, ability and even other people’s money to make profit for yourself.

2. Understand your value: Learn how to demand a pay in alignment with your value. You must be paid your worth whether in business or on a job. Don’t work for people who can’t afford you. In business, your product costs what it costs.

3. Understand where the money is: Simply learn to work hard in the areas where the money is in business and careers. Position yourself where the resources.

4. Resource maximization: Ever wondered why Africa is so rich but its people are poor? We simply lack the intelligence to fully exploit available resources. When you utilize resources well, half the hard work you put in won’t be necessary.
