Did you know that small things in life suffer the most? Ask the insect what happens when raging storms come. Yes! The small always get hurt the most in life. Small is delicate. Small is fragile. Small is fragile and vulnerable. Now friends, it’s okay to start small in life. Most things go through an infancy stage.

“Do not despise these small beginnings” Zechariah 4:10.

But please note that it’s not okay to stay small. Why? Because staying small is a strong indication of a refusal to grow. Staying small is a sign of fear and timidity. In any sphere, whether it be biology, physics or economics, growth is important. You must grow from small to big. Your business must grow. Finances must grow. Increase must happen to an individual or entity.

If I were to be a bit tough, I would actually say that it’s selfish to choose to stay small. You must think bigger. Play the bigger game in life.

“Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.”

To be honest, if we were fish with a choice, some of us would rather be a small fish in a small pond minding our own small business rather than a big fish in the ocean. Check yourself right now. Are you living life as a small fish in a small pond? Or have you made the grand choice of becoming that big fish in the ocean?

Friends I challenge you today. Start small but grow. Don’t stay small. You were small business-wise, financially, academically etc. in 2015. You can’t still be small in 2022?
