Let’s settle one thing once and for all. Life is not fair and things in life mostly happen against what we expect. So yes situations will go wrong. Yes, People will disappoint you and yes, others will hurt you. It’s a given in life that problems will never finish and troubles will come uninvited and mostly unexpected. However, in all this, one thing must be sure if you want to live life with fulfillment and actual happiness. Don’t let the challenges in your life break you.

The natural response to all that may be going wrong around you is a sense of vulnerability and wanting to quit, but today I want to challenge you with this truth: If you are going to overcome and achieve some form of happiness in your life, you must STOP FEELING SORRY FOR YOURSELF. Things don’t get any better when you feel sorry for yourself. Feeling sorry for yourself depletes and drains strength from you. The whole episode of ‘why am I so unlucky, will my suffering ever end or am I cursed?’ only blocks clear thinking and deprives you of solution-oriented action towards problem-solving. It makes you retreat and contract in fear and low self-esteem. Instead of being in goal getting and attack mode.

Friends, whether it’s in the area of finances, relationships, on the job, and in business, feeling sorry for yourself will never make things any better for you. That sense of negativity and helplessness only makes things worse for you. So yes you are tired of the way things are in your life. But drooping in a position of defeat won’t help anything.
