THE WISEST QUESTION YOU CAN EVER ASK IS “HOW DOES IT WORK?
“The “How” question is a wisdom question. When you know how, then you become wise.”
This generation is a curious, innovative and highly technological. From computers, to phone apps, games and high tech gadgets, the first question on every young person’s mind is always “How does it work?”.
It’s common in homes for parents to ask their children how the new technology works. A father will ask the son how to configure the new smart TV. The mother will ask the daughter to update the phone and put a bible app.
So this is my challenge to this generation: Can we also ask the question how does it work, when it comes to things that matter such as Relationships, Courtship, Marriage, Careers, Finances and Faith?
Today marriages end in divorce because no one really asks: “How does marriage work?” Most young people are dying because very few ask: How does life work in terms of the principles of health and longevity?
Young people led businesses and projects close out pre-maturely because no one is patient to ask how business and projects actually work. Careers are cut short and even young preachers make terrible mistakes because of failure to recognize how it all works.
