“Pay close attention when advising people. Chances are, you are saying what you need to hear.”

— Dr. Walubita Siyanga

One quote says “Take my advice-I’m not using it.” The advice we give to others is the advice we ourselves need to follow but rarely do we take our own advice and apply it to our own problems.

We have clarity concerning what people should do about their challenges but how come we don’t know what to do about our own?

Friends, we must stop dismissing our own advice. It’s not that we lack the wisdom to deal with our problems. Rather, it’s the fact that we lack the courage to apply what we know must be done about our situations.

Yes, it’s easier to give advice than it is to follow it and that is why not so many are wise. Do you want to be wise? Simple: Follow your own advice.
