YOU DON’T EXIST JUST TO PAY BILLS
Has your life come to this? Have you condescended to just existing to pay bills? Friends, until your money becomes useful above and beyond just paying bills, you are living an unfulfilled life. There is more to life than just existing to pay rent, water and electricity bills. Your dreams need funding. Your purpose needs resources. Your future generations need to come and eat of the fruits of your labor. So the question is how does one end up entrapped in this life of just perpetually paying bills?
Firstly, it has to do with the fact that sometimes we take on too many responsibilities beyond our present and future means. We want to get married before we are actually. We want to have children with no means of actually supporting those children. We want to champion things without capacity.
Secondly we lack the ability to project into the future. In other words, yes you are managing now, but as your responsibilities grow, so must your income. But alas, we expect to manage growing expenses with the same income.
Thirdly, we do not realize that as much as possible, we must separate our time from what brings income. The job model can be terrible because you are paid for your time. So when bills increase, you are forced to take on a second job or ask for a raise. But that is not sustainable because the demand of the job will only swallow you into this vortex of always striving to make ends meet.
So Friends, by all means, come out of this life of just existing to pay bills. You will only make the other important aspects of your existence such as your purpose, passions, and other aspirations to suffer.
